Telecontrol Connection
Only possible when purchasing the measuring devices via WAGO and only for the following devices:
- Janitza UMG 96,104,508,604
- A-eberle PQI DA/DE
- A check is made with the grid operator to determine whether communication can be successfully established.
- Only possible after successful commissioning of the software.
- The customer is responsible for initiating the signals (e.g., with Omicron) and switching operations.
- The grid network operator checks whether all data points can be sent and received according to the data
point list.
Power Plant Controller
- Based on E9 sheets, single line diagram and control concept.
- The setup of third-party devices (inverters, data loggers, protective devices, measuring devices) is not included.
- Documentation of the software settings via screenshots or PDF export, including software version number.

Energy Management System (EMS)
- Reduces power peaks through storage
- Maximizes the use of PV power
- Limits PV power as needed
- Controls and monitors the battery charging status
General
- Only possible after complete installation and wiring and with clear knowledge about third-party devices.
- Setting up and testing the VPN access.
- Check the documentation provided by the grid operator.
- Preparation of commissioning and preliminary tests.
- Check the data points and accessibility of the connected devices in the software according to the wiring or grid
configuration.
- Configuration of the software for the application.
- Configuration of the transfer stations (field level & implementation of logical links/signal chains).
- Project management (clarification of open documents, interface coordination, control of internal resources).
The responsibility for any damage that occurs during commissioning lies with the customer. WAGO supports the commissioning process but does not assume full responsibility for the system. In particular, WAGO is not liable for loss of earnings that occurs during the work.
System Information
*Depending on the grid connection obligation, the max. approved feed-in power at the grid connection point (GCP) may differ from the installed system power.
**An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) must be guaranteed for 8 hours for operation of the telecontrol connection (FWA) according to the system certification. 24 VDC is assumed as the default output voltage.
